Save Time, Save Money - Rent a Moving Truck!

Whether you are moving across the country or just across town, you may want to consider moving truck rental to get your stuff from one place to the next. Renting a moving truck can also prove to be quite cost and time effective when compared to making multiple trips in your own vehicle.

When you go to pick up your rental truck, don’t forget to bring your drivers license, major credit card and if applicable proof of insurance with you when you go to pick up your rental vehicle.

Also, when you’re renting a truck, the moving truck rental company will usually offer you insurance and/or additional coverage. You may already be covered by your own auto insurance or through your credit card that you used to reserve the rental. If you’re not covered, it would probably be a good idea to purchase the additional coverage – especially for longer moves.

Another thing you may need to consider if you’re renting a larger truck is if you will need to stop at weigh stations. If you’re traveling be sure to check applicable state law and if you’re moving out of state call ahead to get the specific requirements.

Lastly, before you drive off with your moving truck rental, make sure you have copies of all of the important documents from the rental company. This includes the rental agreement, the truck inspection sheet and proof of insurance and registration.
